RSS is a very convenient web content delivery format. RSS fetches constantly updating content from websites that offer RSS feeds. Anything from weather information to news to videos can be fetched through RSS and displayed in your campaigns with UCView’s software (provided you have the proper RSS feed URL for your source).
UCView introduces new Media RSS feature
Media RSS feature is now available under the Campaigns & Content module. Now, not only can you fetch media content for your content from online sources but also download and save that content so that it can still be displayed offline. This innovative media feature will allow for you to fetch videos and images. All you have to do is enter the RSS feed URL. You have the freedom to enter a specific play duration time for each image or video you want to display. You can also decide if the feed will play one content per loop or play all. If you bought a digital signage player before this software update, you will receive a notification to upgrade it.
